Synopsis

It appears as if Mrs. Simpson, the first grade Sunday School teacher, is running a bit late on one fine Sunday morning. Mr. Jones is reluctant to leave his son, Evan, unattended, so he decides to stay in the classroom until Mrs. Simpson arrives. He is soon to determine that Mrs. Simpson may not make it at all and decides to engage the class in a discussion about Sunday School. The kids aren't afraid to tell him what they think about the Sunday School class that they are a part of. Most of their comments are negative.

Mr. Jones is determined to make something good out of what seems to be a bad situation as he takes the opportunity to show them that their views about Sunday School are misdirected. Through his suggestions the children learn more about themselves, their friends, and get a bunch of good reasons to come to Sunday School each week.

This play was written to be used as a funny play to encourage children of all ages to attend Sunday School. It echoes the sentiments expressed in Can You Ask Me A Few Questions? and Can You Ask Me A Few More Questions? making it a great play to use to promote Sunday School within your church.
