Synopsis

Many people get caught up in the worldly traditions of Christmas. This play helps open eyes as to the ways that we get bogged down in the conventional traps of the season.

A young couple are relaxing after having opened all of their presents on Christmas morning. They begin reflecting on how busy the season gets with all of the worldly traditions that they celebrate. As the conversation continues they realize that they have lost sight of the true meaning of Christmas.

They decide that they will give some gifts to the local city mission as a representative gift to Christ on His birthday.

This play would be a great play to perform in a Sunday morning service a couple of weeks before Christmas, just as people are beginning to get caught up in the worldly traditions of the season.
