Synopsis

We often think that we deserve many things from God just because we are children of God. This play brings light to the fact that we can't just make frivolous demands of God and expect Him to come through for us.

Beth convinces herself that she should ask God for a million dollars, tax free, because that should be enough for her to live on for the rest of her life. Kim overhears Beth come to the decision and instantly recognizes that she needs to help her friend understand that God won't give it to her. Kim shows Beth that it is foolish for us to ask for such things from God while showing her the kinds of things that she should ask for.
