I Love You, Man

Biblical References: Hebrews 9:28, 1 John 3:5, Psalm 103:12

Approximate Running Time: 5-10 minutes

Cast of Characters: 2 Males

Synopsis

As the title of this play suggests, I have taken the "I love you, man" quote from the popular beer commercials and changed the environment to that of the Lord attempting to take our sin away from us. He consistently tells Bob, a typical sinner, that He is ready and waiting to take the sin away from him, but that He cannot act until Bob decides that he wants to get rid of it.

In a powerful illustration of what God can do for us, the play ends with the Lord taking the sin away from Bob and throwing it farther than the eye can see. This play will stamp an image of what the Lord does with our sin on the minds of everyone in attendance, an image that will revisit them when they think of what it is the Lord does for them.
