A Mystery Dinner For Any Occasion

The Story

An official United States department of Treasury airplane was transporting approximately 100 Million dollars of newly printed currency from the mint in Dallas, Texas, to an undisclosed location near New York City when the cargo bay door became dislodged and two bags containing what was believed to be over 10 million dollars of United States currency fell out of the plane. Neither of the pilots, nor the security guard, suspected a thing. The money loss wasn't discovered until the money was being transferred from the plane into an armored security truck at the airport. The broken cargo bay door was discovered and was initially blamed for the loss of money. It was impossible for them to determine where along the 1,400 mile flight path the money had left the cargo door of the plane.

The flight path was too great for the FBI to actively investigate the lost money. They left the investigation up to the local jurisdictions and waited to hear news of some development. The money remained missing for almost seven years before a tip was called into the FBI. Because the FBI had less than one day to find the money they raced into the town and began to take potential suspects into custody without asking questions.

Agent Smith and Agent Jones, both special agents with the FBI, were given the case. They immediately ordered that all of the suspects be transported to the closest district attorney's office where they were led into a conference room for interrogation. They were told that no one is to leave the conference room until the money is discovered.

The FBI has rushed into town and taken into custody anyone who may have the missing money. Special Agents Smith and Jones have been assigned the case. It is their job to retrieve the money before the statute of limitations runs out on the missing money. Can they find the money in time? Will someone end up with the missing millions? What will everyone else in the room wind up with?

The only way to find out is to be a part of $The Missing Millions Mystery$!

The Players

Rex Porter is a reporter from a big city news station. He says he's on the biggest story that has hit the wires since Watergate, but he could be looking to make headlines himself.

Beth Anker is Rex's anchor woman. She too is on the story, but there may be a lot to her story that she's not willing to tell.

Sheriff Larsonie is the local law enforcement official. If he can't prove the innocence of those in his town then he may be guilty as well.

Penny Larsonie is Sheriff Larsonie's wife. She may be putting up with her husband's doings just so that she can find a way out of their marriage.

Elmer Dudd is just a simple dairy farmer. why does everyone think the quiet guys are the guilty ones?

Delia Dudd is Elmer's wife. She too leads a quiet life, but she may have aspirations of a better life.

Jenny Farmer runs a small vegetable farm and roadside stand. Her innocent manner makes her an immediate suspect.

Red Farmer is Jenny's husband. He has devoted his life to working with his hands. I bet he'd be more than happy to take the money and run.

Mr. Hooper runs the small mom and pop grocery store in town. His simple life may be changing soon - that is if he can get his hands on the missing money.

Mrs. Hooper is the mom of the mom and pop grocery store. She'd be more than happy to give up the store if she could get her hands on the missing millions.

Art Mobile is the local gas station operator/auto mechanic. With a little capitol he could give up the auto fixin' business and get into the auto racing business.

Autumn Southwood is Art's long time girlfriend. She's highly intelligent but still holds her small town charm. I'm sure she could come up with a way to spend the millions.

Pastor Solomon is the pastor of the only church in town. He sure knows a lot about the people - enough to make him want to skip town. If only he had the money.

Prudence Solomon is pastor Solomon's wife. She'd be more than happy to leave this town along with her husband.

Bob, of Bob's Pizza is the owner/operator of the only pizza place in town. He'd love to leave the food industry for a calmer life in the tropics.

Dr. Benagoner is the local doctor. He could do without having to compromise his skills by operating on livestock anymore.

Ida Benagoner is the local nurse. She too envisions life where her services are more appreciated, or a life where she doesn't have to operate at all.

Max Silverman is the local entrepreneur. A man of the world who already has a ton of money, but who would reject the opportunity to get more?

Agent Smith and Agent Jones have been assigned the investigation. The two of them may have motives of their own.

The Details

$The Missing Millions Mystery$ is a mystery dinner that involves between 12 to 20 people. Each person plays a part in the drama that unfolds as the evening progresses. The dinner takes about four hours to play, including the time that it takes to eat, and can be played by anyone who is able to take part in deductive reasoning. The game works best with Junior High aged teen-agers thru adults.

Everything that you need to put on $The Missing Millions Mystery$, except the food and the paper the game is printed on, is included in the files that you receive when you order the game. Complete instructions, with the ability to contact me with further questions, are given for each person who is to help prepare for the evening.

If you live in the Northern Pennsylvania or Western New York area I will come and moderate the game for you. This gives everyone in your group the opportunity to play the game and cuts down on your preparation time. I enjoy having the opportunity to meet new people and I also enjoy having the opportunity to take part in the game yet again. Contact me for further details.

What People are Saying About
$The Missing Millions Mystery$

Our young adult Fellowship group recently met to play and solve $The Missing Millions Mystery$. We had great fun. We asked all the participants to come in costume and really ham up their parts, and they did. It can be hilarious! One of the men from our Church will be known as "Bob, of Bob's Pizza" from now on.

This mystery would be great for a youth group special event, a young adult, or older adult group setting. The only thing you really need is a creative group of people who want to have an evening of great fun and laughter.

I highly recommend $The Missing Millions Mystery$.

Pastor David Wheatley

$The Missing Millions Mystery$ - WHAT A GAS! I don't know when I've had such a good time "hamming" it up. I was surprised I had it in me and even more surprised by others I thought were always so "meek and mild." The evening was filled with laughter, suspense, good food, and great fellowship. It was most definitely time well spent. Hurry and write another one, Jim! Until then, "Max" alias "Maxine"

Deb Rogers

This Mystery Dinner game is my personal favorite. I've done it three times now and it's different each time! Assign a group of people this dynamic cast of characters and you'll see a side of people you may have never seen before.
