Synopsis

The big Bible quiz competition is only a few days away and Bill knows that he is in trouble. He has been selected to represent his church in a local Bible quiz challenge, but he isn't that well versed when it comes to Bible trivia. He approaches Ted, a friend who is well versed in the Bible, to beg his help in getting ready for the competition.

Ted asks Bill many questions. Questions about books of the Bible, characters of the Bible, and events of the Bible. Through it all, Bill only gets one of the questions right. But he doesn't get discouraged, he only becomes more determined to learn the things that he needs to know for the competition. He knows that people in his church are counting on him and he doesn't want to let them down.

Finally, Ted tires of asking Bill questions that he knows he will get wrong and asks Bill why his pastor selected him to be a part of this competition in the first place. When he sees that Bill has been fooling those around him into believing that he was a true Christian with an ambition to grow in his knowledge of the Lord, Ted tells Bill that it is imperative for him to take more of an integral role with his relationship with the Lord. The play ends with an encouragement for all to take part in Sunday School if they want to learn more about the Bible.

The play causes the audience to laugh at the interplay between Bill and Ted until Bill is confronted for an explanation as to why he can't answer any of the questions right. The audience will then wonder why they couldn't answer all of the questions right, either. As soon as they have made that realization, the play informs them that there is a place, an event really, where they can go to learn more about the Bible - Sunday School.
