Biblical Reference: 1 Corinthians 15:52 Approximate Running Time: 15 minutes Cast of Characters: 1 Male, & 1 Female Synopsis Beth is a vibrant Christian who is married to a "beer bum" named Bill. She finds herself spending a lot of time doing what she can to excuse his non-Christian actions while attempting to get him to see that what he is doing is wrong. Although she may come across as a nagging wife, she is attempting to lovingly convince him of his sinful behavior without causing harm to their marriage. Bill thinks that his wife is a nag. He has learned to give her the right answers to her questions so that she will leave him alone. That way he can get back to doing whatever he wants to do without having her on his back about it. Beth asks Bill when he plans on reconciling his sinful life with the Lord only to hear that he plans on doing it "tomorrow." Bill runs out of "tomorrow's" as he finds himself left on earth after the rapture takes his wife off to heaven. The irony of the play is that even though Bill gets a few clues as to what is going on, he doesn't even realize that what his wife has been predicting all those years has actually happened. Someday there will be a lot of people who are in Bill's shoes. They will find themselves left behind at the rapture while they made their plans to be reconciled with the Lord sometime "tomorrow." This play attempts to show them that they're being foolish to believe that they can do whatever they want today and get right with the Lord "tomorrow." One day they will run out of "tomorrow's" and it's much better to get right with Him today. Order This Play
