Synopsis

Dave has a homework assignment from his youth group meeting last Sunday night. He has to write down places where he would like to be when the rapture happens. But rather than write down any serious places he decides that it would be a great idea to write down some funny places to be stuck when the rapture happens.

His friend Shawn stumbles upon him as he is compiling his list. After sharing the ideas that he has already written down, Shawn and Dave think of a few more ideas to add to the list together. They come up with such places as: the drive-thru at McDonalds, waiting to use the bathroom in the morning because their sisters take way too long to get ready, math class, playing basketball, the principal's office, traffic jams, in the grasp of the local bully, and on the youth group's annual hay ride, among others.

After exhausting their creative ideas, the two of them try to figure out where they would really want to be when the rapture happens. They decide that the best place to be is in church on Sunday morning. That way they can go to meet the Lord with their family and all of their Christian friends.

The play ends as they think of the contrasts between life here on earth as Christians and life in heaven. They determine that life in heaven will be way better than life here on earth and express that they can't wait to get there.
