What's Wrong With That?

Biblical Reference: Philippians 1:27

Approximate Running Time: 10 minutes

Cast of Characters: 2 Either Sex

Synopsis

Bob was quietly driving down the road, minding his own business, when he notices that there is a policeman with his flashing lights on - right behind him. He can't believe it! He wasn't doing anything wrong. Why should this policeman be pulling him over? He pulls his car over to the curb and gets out to see what's going on.

The play begins as Bob leaves his car and starts questioning the policeman as to why he is being detained. Bob's tirade doesn't enable the policeman to inform him of the true reason why he has been pulled over, namely to offer him a new bumper sticker from the local Christian radio station to replace the older one that is currently on his car.

Bob realizes that he has been acting quite un-Christ-like long after the point where he is able to recover his dignity. He tries to cover his anger with excuses, but the policeman has seen enough of what Bob is really like to know that he may act like a Christian while he is in church, but he doesn't act like one when he is outside of the church that he goes to.
