A Mystery Dinner For Any Occasion

The Story

Professor Keebler has invented the greatest cookies that mankind has ever known. They are free from fat, low in calories, made of all natural ingredients, and best of all, they taste great. Unfortunately, the professor didn't get a chance to write down the recipe to these amazing cookies before the cookies were stolen from him. He is now suffering from amnesia as a direct result of being hit over the head during the robbery. Because of the blow to the head he is unable to take the steps necessary to duplicate the invention of the greatest cookies ever invented. If he is able to regain possession of the only batch of cookies in existence then he will be able to reverse engineer them and gain the necessary patent for their mass production.

The authorities have gathered together in one conference room everyone who they suspect had a chance to steal the cookies. The Professor has hired the services of the Watson and Holmes Detective Agency to retrieve the only batch of revolutionary cookies in existence. It is now the job of Watson and Holmes to lead the investigation into each of the people who have been gathered in the conference room. Any one of them could have the cookies in their possession. Will they find the thief? Will they regain the cookies before they are all eaten? Will Professor Keebler get his just reward for inventing the greatest cookies ever invented? Will the crook go unpunished?

The only way to find out is to be a part of The Great Cookie Caper!

The Players

Professor Keebler is the inventor who has become absentminded because of a serious knock on the back of the head. But he could be lying about the whole thing.

Chip A. Hoy is Keebler's financial support. Chip has willfully invested a lot of money into Keebler because of the potential for big earnings. He could have stolen the cookies so that he didn't have to pay Keebler his due.

Miss Truly Sweet is Keebler's sweetheart. But she may not be as sweet as she seems.

Mrs. Bumble is Watson and Holmes' secretary. She seems to be caught up in something that has very little to do with her. But that could be her chief ploy.

Kris E. Verett is a tennis player who just happened to be in town the night of the crime. She claims that she is caught up in something that she has no part of. But she could be lying.

Coach Van O'Sport is Kris' coach. He's got the same alibi. He could be lying as well.

Jack O. Reo, E. L Fudge, Misty Fields, Chamile Leon, and Graham K. Raker are all representatives of big time cookie companies who desire to get their hands on the recipe to the most incredible cookies ever invented. You can't trust a thing that they say.

Watson and Holmes have been commissioned to weed through the lies and deception and find out who stole the cookies. They're finding out who the crooks are. They could be crooks themselves.

The Details

The Great Cookie Caper is a mystery dinner that involves between 10 to 14 people. Each person plays a part in the drama that unfolds as the evening progresses. The dinner takes about three hours to play, including the time that it takes to eat, and can be played by anyone who is able to take part in deductive reasoning. The game works best with Junior High aged teen-agers thru adults.

Everything that you need to put on The Great Cookie Caper, except the food and the paper the game is printed on, is included in the files that you receive when you order the game. Complete instructions, with the ability to contact me with further questions, are given for each person who is to help prepare for the evening.

If you live in the Northern Pennsylvania or Western New York area I will come and moderate the game for you. This gives everyone in your group the opportunity to play the game and cuts down on your preparation time. I enjoy having the opportunity to meet new people and I also enjoy having the opportunity to take part in the game yet again. Contact me for further details.

What People are Saying About The Great Cookie Caper

"We had our party last Friday night and the kids were very receptive. They all got into character and had a good time playing their parts. When our daughter saw her friends at church on Wednesday night, they all told her it was the best party they had ever gone to. Thanks!!!!"

Chris and Donna
Parents of a 16 yr. old

"I think that it was fun and being an avid player of games I would recommend it to those who have a free night and want to do something out of the ordinary."

Greg Militello
Member of a Youth Group

"The Great Cookie Caper was an interesting experience for me. I played the lead role of Holmes and found that the freedom allowed within the plot made the role challenging, but not overly difficult. All in all, it was a great way to spend an evening and fellowship with my friends."

Andrew Spencer
Member of a Youth Group

I did the Great Cookie Caper TWICE with my group: once with the junior high, and once with the senior high. Both groups got into it and enjoyed it very much. They dressed up, played their parts, and worked hard to solve the grand mystery. All in all it was a very enjoyable evening for the kids that they're still talking about. Jim did a good job composing all of the pieces for a lot of movement, intrigue, discussion, and debate. I would recommend it to any youth group or party for an evening of fun.
